Mechanical Insights Into Polymeric Multilayers Films Using Nanoindentation and the Structural Compliance Method

open access: yesStrain, Volume 62, Issue 2, April 2026.
This study applies nanoindentation to resolve layer‐specific mechanical properties in photovoltaic backsheet multilayer polymers. Structural compliance correction reduces substrate flexure and edge artefacts, enabling reliable hardness and modulus mapping.

A Novel Topical Emollient Plus for Canine Atopic Dermatitis: A Clinical Trial Assessing Efficacy and User Acceptance

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 37, Issue 2, Page 293-305, April 2026.
Background: Canine atopic dermatitis (cAD) is a common, chronic skin condition characterised by epidermal barrier dysfunction, immune dysregulation and cutaneous dysbiosis. While “emollient plus” formulations are widely used in human atopic dermatitis, their role in cAD remains underexplored. Hypothesis/Objectives: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and

Incorporation of MoO3 Nanoparticles Into Polypropylene Fibers via Melt Spinning: Investigation of Mechanical, Thermal, and Chromic Properties

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 11, March 15, 2026.
Pure PP and PP/MoO 3 filaments produced by melt spinning. ABSTRACT Polypropylene (PP) composite fibers containing 0.10, 0.20, and 0.50 wt% molybdenum oxide (MoO 3 ) nanoparticles were produced via melt spinning. In the present study, the effect of this addition on the mechanical, thermal, and chromic properties of the fibers was investigated.

Transcriptional Regulatory Mechanisms of Blueberry Endophytes in Enhancing Aluminum (Al) Tolerance in Pumpkins

open access: yesHorticulturae
Aluminum (Al) stress is an important factor that inhibits crop growth in acidic soils and poses a threat to pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata) production. In this study, we investigated the effect of endophyte (endophyte) strain J01 of blueberry (Vaccinium ...

Dynamical Study of Heat Transport Properties of Porous Silicon

open access: yesMedžiagotyra, 2015
A new technique to determine thermal conductivity of porous silicon is proposed. Transient thermoelectric voltage is measured after a pulsed laser irradiation, and knowledge of the voltage decay time constant and porosity of the structure gives the value

Impact of Early Versus Delayed Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps

open access: yesOtolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Volume 174, Issue 3, Page 671-677, March 2026.
Abstract Objective Previous studies have suggested a benefit to early functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) for chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). With the approval of T2 biologics for CRS with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), it is important to re‐evaluate FESS timing in relation to T2 biologic utilization.
