Seismic Velocity of Chlorite Under High Pressure and Temperature and Implications for the Lesser Antilles Subduction Zone

Abstract Chlorite is thought to be one of the major water‐carrying phases in subduction zones, both within the slab and in the mantle wedge. Its presence has previously been linked to common seismological observations at subduction zones, including P and S wave anisotropy as well as high VP/VS ratios (>1.8) in the mantle wedge.

Shared Spectral Parameters Between EEG and Basal Ganglia LFP Distinguish Sleep‐Specific Oscillations in Parkinson's Disease

In 19 people with Parkinson's disease and STN‐DBS, aperiodic features of cortical EEG and STN LFP tracked one another across full nights of polysomnography‐scored sleep. Aperiodic offset and slope distinguished wakefulness from sleep, and STN‐LFP features alone classified sleep stages as accurately as combined STN‐LFP and EEG.

Symmetric and Antisymmetric Vector-valued Jack Polynomials

Polynomials with values in an irreducible module of the symmetric group can be given the structure of a module for the rational Cherednik algebra, called a standard module. This algebra has one free parameter and is generated by differential-difference ("Dunkl") operators, multiplication by coordinate functions and the group algebra.
