Exploring and Exploiting Conditioning of Reinforcement Learning Agents
The outcome of Jacobian singular values regularization was studied for supervised learning problems. In supervised learning settings for linear and nonlinear networks, Jacobian regularization allows for faster learning.

Application of seeding and automatic differentiation in a large scale ocean circulation model [PDF]
Computation of the Jacobian in a 3-dimensional general ocean circulation model is considered in this paper. The Jacobian matrix considered in this paper is square, large and sparse.

Inverse Function Theorems and Jacobiansover Metric Spaces
We present inversion results for Lipschitz maps f : Ω ⊂ ℝN → (Y, d) and stability of inversionfor uniformly convergent sequences. These results are based on the Area Formula and on the l.s.c. of metricJacobians.

Reduced-cost construction of Jacobian matrices for high-resolution inversions of satellite observations of atmospheric composition [PDF]
Global high-resolution observations of atmospheric composition from satellites can greatly improve our understanding of surface emissions through inverse analyses.

Autoduality of the Compactified Jacobian [PDF]
The following autoduality theorem is proved for an integral projective curve C in any characteristic. Given an invertible sheaf L of degree 1, form the corresponding Abel map AL:C→, which maps C into its compactified Jacobian, and form its pullback map , which carries the connected component of 0 in the Picard scheme back to the Jacobian.

On the total variation of the Jacobian
Let \(\Omega\) be an open subset of \({\mathbb R}^2\), and \(u=(u^1,u^2)\in L^\infty_{\text{ loc}}(\Omega;{\mathbb R}^2)\cap W^{1,p}(\Omega;{\mathbb R}^2)\) for some \(p>1\). In the paper, a comparison is carried out among the classical Jacobian determinant \(\det Du\) defined a.e. in \(\Omega\), the distributional Jacobian determinant \(\text{ Det} Du\

JACOBIAN CONJECTURE, TWO-DIMENSIONAL CASE
The Jacobian Conjecture was first formulated by O. Keller in 1939. In the modern form it supposes injectivity of the polynomial mapping f: R^n → R^n (C^n → C^n) provided that jacobian J_f ≡ const ≠ 0.
