A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...

The Pinchuk example revisited

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
In this note we provide two special counterexamples to the strong real Jacobian Conjecture; the first one is surjective, the second one has non-dense image.

Younger Mates and the Jacobian Conjecture [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1995
Let F , G ∈ C [ x , y ] F,G \in \mathbb {C}[x,y] . If the Jacobian determinant of F and G is 1, then G is said to be a Jacobian mate of F. If, in addition, G has degree less than that of F, then G is said to be a younger mate of F.

A Novel Parameter Estimation Method for Pneumatic Soft Hand Control Applying Logarithmic Decrement for Pseudo‐Rigid Body Modeling

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
In this research, a paradigm of parameter estimation method for pneumatic soft hand control is proposed. The method includes the following: 1) sampling harmonic damping waves, 2) applying pseudo‐rigid body modeling and the logarithmic decrement method, and 3) deriving position and force control.

Remarks on the Jacobian Conjecture

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 1997
Let \(F=(F_1,\dots,F_n),\;F_i\in\mathbb C[X_1,\dots,X_n] \) and \(\text{Jac}(F)\in\mathbb C^*\). Let \(M_i=m_{i0}(Y)+m_{i1}(Y)T+ \dots +m_{id_i}(Y)T^{d_i}_i \in \mathbb C[Y_1,\dots,Y_n,T] \) be the minimal polynomial of the algebraic dependence of \(F_1,\dots,F_n,X_i\) over \(\mathbb C\), i.e. the non-zero minimal irreducible polynomial such that \(M_i(

Inverse degrees and the Jacobian conjecture [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Algebra, 1994
Bass, Connell and Wright proved that if the Jacobian Conjecture is true, then there exists a number C(d) such that for every A;-algebra A and every invertible polynomial map F : Ann -→ An with det(J(F)) = 1 the degree of F−1 is bounded by C(d). A year later Bass proved the converse. In this paper we give a short proof of this last result.

VAE+DDPG: An Attention‐Enhanced Variational Autoencoder for Deep Reinforcement Learning‐Based Autonomous Navigation in Low‐Light Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Variational Autoencoder+Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient addresses low‐light failures of infrared depth sensing for indoor robot navigation. Stage 1 pretrains an attention‐enhanced Variational Autoencoder (Convolutional Block Attention Module+Feature Pyramid Network) to map dark depth frames to a well‐lit reconstruction, yielding a 128‐D latent code ...

Complete verification of strong BSD for many modular abelian surfaces over ${\mathbf {Q}}$

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma
We develop the theory and algorithms necessary to be able to verify the strong Birch–Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture for absolutely simple modular abelian varieties over ${\mathbf {Q}}$ . We apply our methods to all 28 Atkin–Lehner quotients of $X_0(
