Separation of Variables and the Geometry of Jacobians
This survey examines separation of variables for algebraically integrable Hamiltonian systems whose tori are Jacobians of Riemann surfaces. For these cases there is a natural class of systems which admit separations in a nice geometric sense.

A Diagonally Updated Limited-Memory Quasi-Newton Method for the Weighted Density Approximation
We propose a limited-memory quasi-Newton method using the bad Broyden update and apply it to the nonlinear equations that must be solved to determine the effective Fermi momentum in the weighted density approximation for the exchange energy density ...

: In this work, Voxel‐SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) is introduced: a complete, accurate, and versatile LiDAR (light detection and ranging) ‐inertial SLAM system consisting of five modules: initialization, odometry, local mapping (LM), loop closure (LC), and global mapping (GM), all employing the same map representation, an adaptive voxel

Intelligent Operator‐Independent Flexibility in Robotic Non‐Destructive Evaluation
Non‐destructive evaluation of high‐value components remains a manufacturing bottleneck due to rigid robotic calibration and fixturing. This study presents a flexible, adaptable system integrating 3D vision and force‐position control with a collaborative KUKA LBR robot. The geometry‐agnostic system enables pose‐independent ultrasonic inspection, detects

Enabling Stochastic Dynamic Games for Robotic Swarms
This paper scales stochastic dynamic games to large swarms of robots through selective agent modeling and variable partial belief space planning. We formulate these games using a belief space variant of iterative Linear Quadratic Gaussian (iLQG). We scale to teams of 50 agents through selective modeling based on the estimated influence of agents ...

GENERALIZED EXPLICIT DESCENT AND ITS APPLICATION TO CURVES OF GENUS 3
We introduce a common generalization of essentially all known methods for explicit computation of Selmer groups, which are used to bound the ranks of abelian varieties over global fields.

Food inflation pass‐through from agricultural imports in a small open economy
Abstract This paper develops a new framework for quantifying cost pass‐through in a small open economy by estimating firm‐level markup responses to agricultural import price shocks. We show theoretically that markup adjustments depend on firms' reliance on imported inputs and demand curvature, generating heterogeneous inflationary effects across firm ...

Altered Brain Structure in an ATRX‐Deficient Mouse Model of Autism Spectrum Disorder
ABSTRACT Mutations in the ATRX gene are a primary cause of alpha‐thalassemia intellectual disability X‐linked (ATRX) syndrome, which is characterized by intellectual disability, autism, and a range of brain structural abnormalities, including microcephaly.

Generalized Newton’s method for solving nonlinear and nondifferentiable algebraic systems
In this paper a model based on non-smooth equations is proposed for solving a non-linear and non-differential equation obtained by discretization of a quasi-variational inequality that models the frictional contact problem. The main aim of this paper is
