Tensor Products of Jacobson Radicals in Nest Algebras
Chinese Annals of Mathematics, 2003Given two nests \(N\), \(M\) on a complex Hilbert space, the author obtains a description of the tensor product of Jacobson radicals \(R_N\otimes_w R_M\). It is also proved that when \(N\), \(M\) are nontrivial, then \(R_N\otimes_w R_M= R^w_{N\otimes M}\) if and only if \(N\), \(M\) are continuous.
