Game jam [PDF]

open access: yesCHI '14 Extended Abstracts on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 2014
Recent years have witnessed a rise in Game Jams - organized events to create playable prototypes in avery short time frame. Game Jams offer a unique and quick way to prototype games. Beyond that, we believe Game Jams can also be seen as a design research method, situated in the research-through-design tradition, to create knowledge in a fast-paced ...

Overview of Radar Jamming Waveform Design

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Radar jamming waveform design is a vital part of radar jamming. Over seven to eight decades of evolution, the field has transitioned from noise signal design to coherent jamming signal design, resulting in a multitude of complex jamming styles capable of

Convolutional Neural Network-Based Radar Jamming Signal Classification With Sufficient and Limited Samples

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Jamming is a big threat to radar system survival and anti-jamming is a part of the solution. The classification of radar jamming signal is the first step toward to anti-jamming.

Variable-cell method for stress-controlled jamming of athermal, frictionless grains [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, vol. 89, art. no. 042203 (2014), 2014
A new method is introduced to simulate jamming of polyhedral grains under controlled stress that incorporates global degrees of freedom through the metric tensor of a periodic cell containing grains. Jamming under hydrostatic/isotropic stress and athermal conditions leads to a precise definition of the ideal jamming point at zero shear stress.

Combined and comb RCIED activation messages jamming: Two different strategies with similar names [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Technical Review, 2020
The characteristics of combined and comb jamming of RCIED activation messages are presented in this paper. Combined jamming signal is formed as the sum of swept sinusoidal signal and noise signal, while comb jamming signal means that its spectrum has a ...

Secure UAV Communication With Cooperative Jamming and Trajectory Control [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Communications Letters, 2018
This letter presents a new cooperative jamming approach to secure the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication by leveraging jamming from other nearby UAVs to defend against the eavesdropping. In particular, we consider a two-UAV scenario when one UAV

Jamming in hierarchical networks [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Physics Communications, 2015
We study the Biroli-Mezard model for lattice glasses on a number of hierarchical networks. These networks combine certain lattice-like features with a recursive structure that makes them suitable for exact renormalization group studies and provide an alternative to the mean-field approach.

AFRL: Adaptive federated reinforcement learning for intelligent jamming defense in FANET

open access: yesJournal of Communications and Networks, 2020
The flying ad-hoc network (FANET) is a decentralized communication network for the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Because of the wireless nature and the unique network properties, FANET remains vulnerable to jamming attack with additional challenges ...
