Vertical distribution of bivalves fauna in the northwestern Tatar Strait (Japan Sea)

open access: yesИзвестия ТИНРО, 2020
General patterns of bivalves distribution by depth in the northwestern Tatar Strait (within Khabarovsk region) are analyzed on the data of 384 trawl, 573 drag, and 1177 diving stations during research surveys in 2003–2016 where the samples were collected

Race Separation of Deep Sea Smelt of Japan Sea

open access: yesNIPPON SUISAN GAKKAISHI, 1974
The spawning season of the deep sea smelt of Japan Sea was found to be very long, extending to several months. Hence it is believed that two or more races could be spawning one after the other. On the basis of otolith patterns this fish population could be separated into two major groups.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Structure of the Primorye Current (Japan Sea) on satellite ima- ges and standard sections

open access: yesИзвестия ТИНРО
Based on satellite images and standard sections obtained in 2000–2024, spatial structure of the Primorye Current as a band of cold waters along the coast of Primorye is considered.

Some features of embryonic development of eggs and larvae of three stripe rockfsh Sebastes trivittatus (Sebastidae) at Primorye (Japan Sea)

open access: yesИзвестия ТИНРО, 2018
Later embryonic development of Sebastes trivittatus passes in 20 days under water temperature 10 оС (in June-July). During this period, the embryos of S.

Optimal methods for identification of dominants for submerged aquatic vegetation on a case of the northwestern Tatar Strait

open access: yesИзвестия ТИНРО, 2020
Dominant species are identified at infracenotic level for aquatic vegetation in the sublittoral zone of the northwestern Tatar Strait (Japan Sea) on the data collected in 2010–2019.

Developing evidence‐based, cost‐effective P4 cancer medicine for driving innovation in prevention, therapeutics, patient care and reducing healthcare inequalities

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

The mass of the charm quark from unquenched lattice QCD at fixed lattice spacing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We determine the mass of the charm quark ($m_c$) from lattice QCD with two flavors of dynamical quarks with a mass around the strange quark. We compare this to a determination in quenched QCD which has the same lattice spacing (0.1 fm).

Hyperon vector coupling f_1(0) from 2+1 flavor lattice QCD

open access: yes, 2011
We present results for the hyperon vector form factor f_1 for $\Xi^0 \rightarrow \Sigma^+ l\bar{\nu}$ and $\Sigma^- \rightarrow n l\bar{\nu}$ semileptonic decays from dynamical lattice QCD with domain-wall quarks.

Climatic changes of temperature, salinity and nutrients in the Amur Bay of the Japan Sea

open access: yesИзвестия ТИНРО, 2015
Recent climate-scale (> 3 decades) changes of water temperature, salinity, and concentration of inorganic phosphorus, silicon and nitrogen (nitrites and nitrates) are considered for the Amur Bay where Vladivostok is located ashore.
