アレルギー性鼻炎は,くしゃみ,鼻汁分泌亢進および鼻閉を主症状とする典型的なI型アレルギー疾患である.くしゃみおよび鼻汁分泌の亢進は,抗ヒスタミン薬により抑制される.一方,患者にとって最も苦痛を強いられる鼻閉にはグルココルチコイドが繁用されるが,周知のごとくグルココルチコイドは優れた効果を発揮するが副作用も強く,これに代わる鼻閉の治療薬が望まれている.実験動物を用いたヒトの病態を反映した良好なモデルは,新規治療薬の開発に極めて重要な位置にあることは論をまたない.そこで,我々はモルモットを用いてスギ花粉抽出エキスで経鼻的に感作し,以後スギ花粉の反復吸入を行うことにより,ヒトの病態に類似した症状を呈するアレルギー性鼻炎モデルの開発を企図した.本法により ...
