Submucosal tumors are rare endoscopic findings and their diagnostic and therapeutic management is a subject of debate [1]. Neoplastic disease in the gut accounts for 0.4% of all digestive malignancies and is mainly represented by carcinoid tumors [2]. Benign diseases are even rarer and their treatment is largely unexplored.
