Using fixed point methods, we establish the stability of 𝑛-Lie homomorphisms and Jordan 𝑛-Lie homomorphisms on 𝑛-Lie algebras associated to the following generalized Jensen functional equation ∑𝜇𝑓(𝑛𝑖=1𝑥𝑖∑/𝑛)+𝜇𝑛𝑗=2∑𝑓(𝑛𝑖=1,𝑖≠𝑗𝑥𝑖−(𝑛−1)𝑥𝑗/𝑛)=𝑓(𝜇𝑥1)(𝑛≥2).

Stability of Jensen functional equation on semigroups

A real function \(f\) defined on a semigroup \(S\) is Jensen if it satisfies the functional equation \(f(xyz)+f(xzy)+2f(x)-2f(xy)-2f(xz)=0\). In this paper, the authors investigate the Hyers-Ulam stability of the above equation and prove that each semigroup can be embedded into a semigroup such that the equation above is stable.
