Approximate 𝑛-Lie Homomorphisms and Jordan 𝑛-Lie Homomorphisms on 𝑛-Lie Algebras

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
Using fixed point methods, we establish the stability of 𝑛-Lie homomorphisms and Jordan 𝑛-Lie homomorphisms on 𝑛-Lie algebras associated to the following generalized Jensen functional equation ∑𝜇𝑓(𝑛𝑖=1𝑥𝑖∑/𝑛)+𝜇𝑛𝑗=2∑𝑓(𝑛𝑖=1,𝑖≠𝑗𝑥𝑖−(𝑛−1)𝑥𝑗/𝑛)=𝑓(𝜇𝑥1)(𝑛≥2).

Executive Changes and ESG Disclosure in S&P 500 Firms: The Moderating Role of Strategic Dynamism

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The strategic importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosure has sparked academic interest, yet the role of top management team (TMT) dynamics remains underexplored. This study examines how the number of executive changes, as a proxy for TMT instability, affects ESG and environmental (ENV) disclosure in S&P 500 firms from

Sustainability‐Focused or Unfocused CSR Committees: Which Ones Are Beneficial for Corporate Environmental Performance?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) committees' mandates, the characteristics of their chairs, and corporate environmental performance. Employing the whole sample of Italian industrial firms listed on Euronext Milan, we find that only sustainability‐focused CSR committees are positively ...

Orchestrating Circularity in UK Accident Repair: An Intermediary Perspective on Green Parts and Reverse Logistics

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines the drivers and barriers shaping the adoption of salvaged automotive components (‘green parts’) in the UK accident repair sector and evaluates the strategic implications for intermediary firms in fragmented service ecosystems.

Stability of a Jensen Type Logarithmic Functional Equation on Restricted Domains and Its Asymptotic Behaviors

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2010
Let be the set of positive real numbers, a Banach space, and , with . We prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the Jensen type logarithmic functional inequality in restricted domains of the form for fixed with or and .

Operatorial approach to the non-Archimedean stability of a Pexider K-quadratic functional equation

open access: yesArab Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2015
We use the operatorial approach to obtain, in non-Archimedean spaces, the Hyers–Ulam stability of the Pexider K-quadratic functional equation∑k∈Kf(x+k·y)=κg(x)+κh(y),x,y∈E, where f,g,h:E→F are applications and K is a finite subgroup of the group of ...

Stability of Jensen functional equation on semigroups

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2010
A real function \(f\) defined on a semigroup \(S\) is Jensen if it satisfies the functional equation \(f(xyz)+f(xzy)+2f(x)-2f(xy)-2f(xz)=0\). In this paper, the authors investigate the Hyers-Ulam stability of the above equation and prove that each semigroup can be embedded into a semigroup such that the equation above is stable.

Stakeholder‐Driven Food Policy and Multilevel Governance for Agri‐Food Systems Resilience: Integrating Climate Change, Food Security, and Biodiversity

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Climate‐resilient food systems require simultaneously addressing climate mitigation, food security, and biodiversity conservation. Yet most policy frameworks treat these interdependent goals as separate challenges, fragmenting action across sectors.

Broad Skills, Smaller Footprints? Generalist CEOs and Firm Biodiversity Exposure

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We examine whether CEO generalist skills predict firm‐level biodiversity risk exposure, an emerging strategic and financial concern. Using the biodiversity indicator developed based on textual analysis and the General Ability Index, we find that firms led by generalist CEOs are associated with significantly lower disclosed biodiversity risk ...

Homomorphisms and Derivations in C∗-Ternary Algebras

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2009
In 2006, C. Park proved the stability of homomorphisms in C∗-ternary algebras and of derivations on C∗-ternary algebras for the following generalized Cauchy-Jensen additive mapping: 2f((∑j=1pxj/2)+∑j=1dyj)=∑j=1pf(xj)+2∑j=1df(yj). In this note, we improve
