Circuit realization of a fractional-order chaotic jerk system
2017 6th International Conference on Modern Circuits and Systems Technologies (MOCAST), 2017In this paper, the analysis, design and circuit synthesis of a fractional-order form of a chaotic jerk system is presented. The proposed system is one of the simplest member of the jerk system's family, because it has the least number of terms, one of which is the unique nonlinear term of the system. For the first time, the hyperbolic sine term is used

A New Chaotic Jerk System with Double-Hump Nonlinearity
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2020In this paper, we report a new third-order chaotic jerk system with double-hump (bimodal) nonlinearity. The bimodal nonlinearity is of basic interest in biology, physics, etc. The proposed jerk system is able to exhibit chaotic response with proper choice of parameters.

Active Suspension Systems With Optimal Jerk Control
Volume 2: Automotive Systems, Bioengineering and Biomedical Technology, Fluids Engineering, Maintenance Engineering and Non-Destructive Evaluation, and Nanotechnology, 2006An active suspension system should be designed/optimized in conjunction with the tradeoff between ride and handling. In recent years, jerk as a measure of ride quality is considered in performance index. In this paper, effects of jerk in active suspension system for a 1/4 car model is investigated.

Realization of Higher-Order Hyperchaotic Jerk System
2021This research article suggests a novel method for realization of the higher-order chaotic jerk system. Proposed topology presents an idea for obtaining the nth-order chaotic system by using traditional cascading method. The generalized nth-order chaotic model is implemented with few passive components using integrator and summer amplifier with a sine ...

The Cusp Bifurcation of a Jerk System
International Journal of Bifurcation and ChaosIn this paper, using smooth invertible variable transformations and smooth invertible parameter changes, we construct a jerk normal form for the cusp bifurcation of a jerk system with two parameters which displays a nondegenerate fold bifurcation.

A unique jerk system with hidden chaotic oscillation
Nonlinear Dynamics, 2016An equilibrium-free piecewise linear jerk system is obtained by a signum operation based on the Sprott R system, which gives hidden oscillation of large basin of attraction. The new proposed chaotic system has a unique structure with an independent parameter for partial amplitude control, which experimentally can be realized in the circuit by a ...

Jerk limited time optimal control of multi-input systems
Proceedings of the 2002 American Control Conference (IEEE Cat. No.CH37301), 2003A design method for determining control sequences for rest-to-rest maneuvers of flexible structures with multiple actuators and multiple resonant modes is described. The problem formulation. is based on a pole cancellation approach with constraints on both the magnitude and the time rate of change of the control inputs.

Chaotification of the Van der Pol System Using Jerk Architecture
IEICE Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences, 2006In this brief, a chaotic Jerk system is presented. This was obtained by converting the Van der Pol architecture into a third order differential equation, and, after the state-space representation was obtained, adding one innovation term and modifying some proportional parameters.

Modulation of the jaw jerk reflex by the sympathetic nervous system.
Archives italiennes de biologie, 1993The effect of sympathetic stimulation on the jaw jerk reflex has been studied in precollicular decerebrate rabbits. This reflex was elicited by a downward mandibular movement applied to the lower jaw through a servo controlled puller. Unilateral stimulation of the cervical sympathetic nerve at 10/s consistently induced a decrease in the JJR, i.e.
