Rational Fine‐Tuning of MOF Pore Metrics: Enhanced SO2 Capture and Sensing with Optimal Multi‐Site Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

Copper Doping Enhances the Activity and Selectivity of Atomically Precise Ag44 Nanoclusters for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
By a simple anti‐Galvanic reaction, up to six copper atoms could be preferably doped into the Ag2(SR)5 staple motifs and Ag20 dodecahedral shell of an atomically precise Ag44(SR)30 nanocluster. When anatase TiO2 is used as substrate, the (AgCu)44/TiO2 photocatalyst exhibited much improved activity in photocatalytic CO2 reduction compared to Ag44/TiO2 ...

Enhancing CoFe Catalysts with V2CTX MXene‐Derived Materials for Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MXene dervied CoFe composites show increased initial Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) activity compared to the pure CoFe and MXene in an Anion Exchange Membrane device. Vanadium vacancies in the MXene plays a role in increased OER activity and hinders Fe leaching in the AEM device over using the pure V2C MXene as a support material for the CoFe ...

Search and Nonwage Job Characteristics [PDF]

open access: possibleJournal of Human Resources, 2011
This paper quantifies the importance of nonwage job characteristics to workers by estimating a structural on-the-job search model. The model generalizes the standard search framework by allowing workers to search for jobs based on both wages and job-specific nonwage utility flows.

Automation, job characteristics and job insecurity

International Journal of Manpower, 2019
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze whether specific jobs characteristics, which experts have identified as being more automation proof, are associated with reduced job insecurity. Design/methodology/approach Data come from a recent survey providing information on sources of job insecurity as well as on detailed job characteristics.

Job and Organizational Characteristics

Educational and Psychological Measurement, 2007
This research aimed to assess the underlying dimensionality of items commonly used to assess applicants' perceptions of job and organizational characteristics. First, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used to determine the number of underlying constructs in a job and organizational characteristics scale.

Job Characteristics and Leisure Physical Activity

Journal of Aging and Health, 2000
Objectives:This study employs a sample population of older workers to estimate an empirical model of leisure exercise activity. Alternative theories relatingwork and leisure attitudes relevant for understanding the exercise behavior of older workers are tested empirically.
