Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

2D α‐Co(OH)2 interleaved with Mo species displays an appealing dual functionality for the production and use of green hydrogen.Mo incorporation greatly benefits the electrochemical behaviour in Oxygen Evolution Reaction for H2 production, while the magnetocaloric response at liquid H2 temperature paves the way for alternative cryogenic refrigerants ...

Job Search in Thick Markets: Evidence from Italy [PDF]
I analyze empirically the effects of both urban and industrial agglomeration on menÂ’s and womenÂ’s search behavior and on the efficiency of matching. The analysis is based on a unique panel data set from the Italian Labor Force Survey micro-data, which ...

The new Cu‐containing MOF (Me2NH2)(CuICl2)@[Cu4(INA)4Cl2O]·1.5dmf (3) contains a cation and an anion as guests and shows UV‐near‐mid‐IR absorption and near‐IR emission. MOF 3 shows gas‐solid reactivity in the presence of NH3 and HCOOH to yield two new 3D MOF.

Joint-search theory: new opportunities and new frictions [PDF]
Search theory routinely assumes that decisions about the acceptance/rejection of job offers (and, hence, about labor market movements between jobs or across employment states) are made by individuals acting in isolation.

Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

Accounting For Endogenous Search Behavior in Matching Function Estimation [PDF]
We show that equilibrium matching models imply that standard estimates of the matching function elasticities are exposed to an endogeneity bias, which arises from the search behavior of agents on either side of the market.

AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

On-the-Job Search and Precautionary Savings: Theory and Empirics of Earnings and Wealth Inequality [PDF]
In this paper, I develop and estimate a model of the labor market that can account for both the inequality in earnings and the much larger inequality in wealth observed in the data.
