Angewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.Here, we report a systematic investigation of novel zwitterionic dipeptide functionalized nanodiamonds to ensure colloidal stability over a broad pH range and in biological media. In vitro experiments in 2D and 3D cell cultures revealed a dipeptide‐dependent biocompatibility and cellular uptake.
