Is there any financial kuznets curve in Jordan? a structural time series analysis
This paper investigates the notion of the financial Kuznets curve in an emerging country—Jordan. Both variants of the financial Kuznets curve (growth financial Kuznets curve and inequality financial Kuznets curve) have been examined using different time ...

A digital analogue of the Jordan curve theorem
The usual approach to digital topology of the plane pioneered by \textit{A. Rosenfeld} [see for example Am. Math. Mon. 86, 621--630 (1979; Zbl 0432.68061)] is to use a 4-adjacency relation for the background and an 8-adjacency relation for the image in the rectangular grid \({\mathbb Z}^ 2\).

Coloring Jordan Regions and Curves [PDF]
A Jordan region is a subset of the plane that is homeomorphic to a closed disk. Consider a family $\mathcal{F}$ of Jordan regions whose interiors are pairwise disjoint, and such that any two Jordan regions intersect in at most one point. If any point of the plane is contained in at most $k$ elements of $\mathcal{F}$ (with $k$ sufficiently large), then ...

CHARACTERISTICS OF LACTATION CURVE IN DAMASCUS GOATS IN JORDAN [PDF]
Test day milk yield data on Damascus goats maintained at Walla station belonging to ministry of agriculture in Jordan were collected over the period from 2002 to 2010 and included 7700 test days (1540 records). Wood model parameters were estimated using

Daily load curve prediction for Jordan based on statistical techniques
The article proposes a mathematical prediction model for daily load curves (DLCs) in Jordan from 2023–2050. The historical hourly peak loads based on the growth rate statistical method in 1994–2020 and the annual forecasted peak loads during the morning ...

Topological persistence on a Jordan curve [PDF]
Topological persistence measures the resilience of extrema of a function to perturbations, and has received increasing attention in computer graphics, visualization and computer vision. While the notion of topological persistence for piece-wise linear functions defined on a simplicial complex has been well studied, the time complexity of all the known ...
