Hybrid Encryption Algorithm Based on Gray Curve and Josephus Permutation. [PDF]
This paper proposes a new image encryption algorithm based on chaos map systems, hash algorithm, and Josephus permutation. The algorithm consists of chaos initialization, pixel position permutation, and pixel information diffusion. The algorithm’s initialization is generated by the original image, which has a high sensitivity to the initial value.

Experimental Study on the Mechanism of Pinching in Cold‐Rolling Processes
Herein, the occurrence of “pinching” defects during the rolling of metal sheets is investigated. It is shown that disruptions in the lubrication state may be a source of shape defects (waviness), which develop as pinches, that appear as a wavy pattern, often accompanied by local cracks.

Periodic characteristics of the Josephus ring and its application in image scrambling
This paper proposes a new image scrambling algorithm based on the periodic characteristics of the Josephus ring. The algorithm composes the pretreatment part of the entire image encryption system and scrambles the rows and columns of the plain image. The
