Magnetohydrodynamic Journal Bearing (Report 1)
A theoretical analysis of an infinite full journal bearing is presented for the case of an electrically conducting fluid in the presence of a radial magnetic field. The analysis is based on general external loading conditions.

Abstract Primates show a high degree of locomotor diversity that engenders similar variance in limb bone cross‐sectional geometry and bending strength: leaping primates have stronger hindlimb bones whereas suspensory species have stronger forelimb bones.

Purpose To synthesize patient‐reported outcome measures, failure rates, and mobility parameters for comparison of partial repair versus superior capsular reconstruction (SCR) in the treatment of irreparable posterosuperior rotator cuff tears. Methods EMBASE, OVID Medline, and Emcare were searched from database inception to November 2024 for studies on ...

Study of two‐lobe four recessed hybrid journal bearing
PurposeIn recent years, researchers have focused a great deal of attention on multirecess hybrid journal bearing systems. The non‐circular journal bearings are widely used in industry on account of their better stability, simplicity, efficiency and low ...

Purpose To identify whether chondral pathology is associated with an increase in failure rates of isolated meniscal root repairs. Methods We retrospectively reviewed meniscus repairs from 2012 to 2022 at the author's institution. Nonroot repairs and cases with total or same compartment meniscectomy, cartilage restoration, osteotomy, or other concurrent
