Dysregulation of the PATZ1/CTCF Balance Silences ZBTB20 to Drive Melanoma Progression
This study uncovers a new oncogenic mechanism in melanoma. The transcription factor PATZ1 competes with the architectural protein CTCF for DNA binding, thereby disrupting a specific chromatin loop and silencing the tumor suppressor ZBTB20. This event unleashes the pro‐tumorigenic PMEPA1‐p38‐STAT1 signaling axis, promoting cancer progression.

Sub‐Unit‐Cell Logic Governs Transport in TPMS Architectures
ABSTRACT Next‐generation energy, thermal, and chemical systems require architectures capable of highly efficient transport across multiple length scales. Triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS), first conceptualized in 1865, offer inherently scalable geometries with exceptional transport potential, yet mechanistic links between topology and performance

The potential effect of making journals free after a six month embargo [PDF]
This report commissioned by the UK Publishers\u27 Association finds that providing open access to research publications after 6 months rather than 12 might have a material effect on libraries’ subscriptions; and that the impact on publishers’ revenues ...

Boosting Sensory Nerve‐to‐Bone Interactions Enhances Hedgehog Mediated Calvarial Bone Repair
Boosting sensory nerve activity via TrkA agonism strongly accelerates calvarial bone repair in adult mice. Furthermore, single‐cell RNA sequencing and neuron–bone interactome analyses identify these sensory neurons as a direct neural source of Hedgehog pathway ligands. Consequently, these ligands drive osteoblast differentiation of skeletal progenitors,
