2015Although judicial decisions in an “activist” vein are often held out as a manifestation of “reason” in governance, upon closer inspection they are sometimes more like the opposite of “reason,” consisting of poorly supported accusations of hatred or animus against the supporters of the measures that the courts choose to invalidate.
