Juglans regia L. Artbeschreibung: Bis 25 m hoher Baum mit grauer Rinde. Blätter unpaarig gefiedert, mit 5-9 ovalen, +/- ganzrandigen, unterseits in den Nervenwinkeln bärtigen Teilblättern. Männliche Blüten in bis 10 cm langen, hängenden Kätzchen in vorjährigen Blattwinkeln, weibliche zu 2-3(-5) endständig an diesjährigen Trieben.
