Cycloazulenylene

A strained macrocycle consisting solely of azulene subunits, named [6]cycloparaazulenylene ([6]CPA), is presented. The macrocycle exhibits a notably narrow HOMO–LUMO gap for a pristine azulene species, strain‐induced red‐shifted absorption, and an unusual tubular packing motif elucidated via single‐crystal XRD.

ABSTRACT We present relative astrometric measurements of visual double stars, made in 2019 with the speckle camera PISCO at the 1‐m Epsilon telescope of the C2PU facility (Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur, Calern site). Our observing list contains orbital couples as well as double stars whose motion is still uncertain.

Aims CYP2C19 is one of the most important pharmacogenes, and its activity is highly variable due to factors such as genetics or drug–drug interactions. Due to the lack of an appropriate endogenous CYP2C19 biomarker, surrogate methods to assess its activity are warranted.
