Aquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 196-210, April 2023., 2023 We characterized fisheries in the area of the port city of Riberalta (upper Madeira River basin) and evaluated the contribution of an invasive species (Arapaima gigas) to the landings. A. gigas represented 57.6% of the overall economic value of fish in the region.
