Maximal symplectic torus actions

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, EarlyView.
Abstract There are several different notions of maximal torus actions on smooth manifolds, in various contexts: symplectic, Riemannian, complex. In the symplectic context, for the so‐called isotropy‐maximal actions, as well as for the weaker notion of almost isotropy‐maximal actions, we give classifications up to equivariant symplectomorphism.

The log Grothendieck ring of varieties

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, EarlyView.
Abstract We define a Grothendieck ring of varieties for log schemes. It is generated by one additional class “P$P$” over the usual Grothendieck ring. We show the naïve definition of log Hodge numbers does not make sense for all log schemes. We offer an alternative that does.

On higher Jacobians, Laplace equations, and Lefschetz properties

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, EarlyView.
Abstract Let A$A$ be a standard graded Artinian K$\mathbb {K}$‐algebra over a field of characteristic zero. We prove that the failure of strong Lefschetz property (SLP) for A$A$ is equivalent to the osculating defect of a certain rational variety.

Some Properties of Curvature Tensors and Foliations of Locally Conformal Almost Kähler Manifolds

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2021
We investigate a class of locally conformal almost Kähler structures and prove that, under some conditions, this class is a subclass of almost Kähler structures.

Exploring the Validation Results of the Advanced Solar Particle Events Casting System (ASPECS)

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 23, Issue 11, November 2025.
Abstract Solar Energetic Particle (SEP) events can adversely affect space and ground‐based systems. Space weather effects associated with SEP events can impact communication and navigation systems, spacecraft electronics and operations, space power systems, crewed space missions, and commercial aircraft operations.

On the Geometry of the Kähler Golden Manifold

open access: yesAxioms
The main objective of this paper is to investigate the properties related to the sectional curvatures of a Kähler golden manifold, an almost Hermitian golden manifold whose almost complex golden structure is parallel with respect to the Levi–Civita ...

On the Kähler-likeness on almost Hermitian manifolds

open access: yesComplex Manifolds, 2019
We define a Kähler-like almost Hermitian metric. We will prove that on a compact Kähler-like almost Hermitian manifold (M2n, J, g), if it admits a positive ∂ ̄∂-closed (n − 2, n − 2)-form, then g is a quasi-Kähler metric.

Almost-complex invariants of families of six-dimensional solvmanifolds

open access: yesComplex Manifolds, 2022
We compute almost-complex invariants h∂¯p,oh_{\bar \partial }^{p,o}, hDolp,oh_{Dol}^{p,o} and almost-Hermitian invariants hδ¯p,oh_{\bar \delta }^{p,o} on families of almost-Kähler and almost-Hermitian 6-dimensional solvmanifolds.

On discrete subgroups of the complex unit ball

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 298, Issue 10, Page 3272-3286, October 2025.
Abstract In this paper, we study conditions for a discrete subgroup of the automorphism group of the n$n$‐dimensional complex unit ball to be of convergence type or second kind, connecting these classifications to the existence of Green's functions and subharmonic or harmonic functions on its quotient space.

Consistent truncation with dilatino condensation on nearly Kähler and Calabi-Yau manifolds

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We construct a consistent four-scalar truncation of ten-dimensional IIA supergravity on nearly Kähler spaces in the presence of dilatino condensates. The truncation is universal, i.e.
