Measurements of K-Band Antenna Patterns
IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, 1982Methods and results of on-board antenna pattern measurements of Medium-scale Broadcasting Satellite for Experimental Purpose (BSE) are described in this paper. The measurements were carried out by means of satellite attitude offsets about the pitch and roll axes.

K band frequency-scanned waveguide array
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1974This paper presents the design of a K band frequency scanned array in an RG 96/U waveguide. The radiating elements consist of slots machined in the narrow wall of the guide. experiment-resluts of the measured slot conductances for the antenna elements and the feed system are given for slot spacings of 0.25 inches and various slot orientations and ...

K’-band observations of the Evil Eye Galaxy and the implied K’-band dust albedo
1996We are reporting the result of a new analysis of the observations of reddening and attenuation produced by the remarkable dust feature in the galaxy NGC 4826 (Evil Eye Galaxy), published by Witt et al. (1994). This analysis is based on multiple-scattering radiative transfer models for a disk galaxy with an overlying dust lane, and it includes the ...

High performance K-band MEMS switches
2007 European Microwave Integrated Circuit Conference, 2007This paper presents a comparison of the design, construction, and performance of broadband RF MEMS switches operating in the K-band from DC to 26.5 GHz and DC to 35 GHz. Both devices exploit proven elements from previous DC - 7 GHz SPDT MEMS switch designs. Two different switch configurations have been investigated to address RF resonance deficiencies,

A K-band single-chip transmitter
12th Annual Symposium on Gallium Arsenide Integrated Circuit (GaAs IC), 2002A very small K-band transmitter chip has been designed and fabricated for the first time. The transmitter chip contains a local oscillator, a balanced FET upconverter, and amplifiers. It converts 1-GHz IF signals up to 25 GHZ with a conversion gain of 10 dB and generates a maximum power of 10 dBm.

Deconstructing the K-Band Number Counts
2010We present a study that links the Number Counts (NCs) to the rest-frame luminosity functions (LFs) at the passbands probed by the observed K-band at different epochs. Making use of a large K-band selected sample in the Groth Field, HDFN and CDFS ( ∼ 0.
