MiR-886-3p regulates cell proliferation and migration, and is dysregulated in familial non-medullary thyroid cancer. [PDF]
The molecular basis and characteristics of familial non-medullary thyroid cancer are poorly understood. In this study, we performed microRNA (miRNA) profiling of familial and sporadic papillary thyroid cancer tumor samples.Genome wide miRNA profiling of ...

Parameters of Electron Probe Microanalysis for Na and K in Silicate Glass
BACKGROUND The precise measurement for Na and K in silicate glass is usually difficult in electron probe microanalysis (EPMA). Ti-containing silicate glass has an important value in basic scientific research and application technology development, and it

An InAs/high-k/low-k structure: Electron transport and interface analysis
We fabricated and investigated an InAs/high-k/low-k structure in comparison with an InAs/low-k structure, where the former and the latter are respectively obtained by bonding of InAs/Al2O3/AlN and InAs ...

Temperature effect on electron-stimulated desorption of cesium atoms from graphene on iridium [PDF]
Electron-stimulated desorption of cesium atoms from monolayer graphene on iridium has been observed at 160 K and 300 K. Migration processes have been shown to be frozen at 160 K, and cesium atoms to be located only at the graphene surface.

Wigner crystallization in quasi-one-dimensional quantum wire
We study the ground-state properties of quasi-one-dimensional paramagnetic electron fluid using variational quantum Monte Carlo method. The electrons are transversally confined using the harmonically regularized Coulomb potential with long range order ...

INTERNAL FRICTION OF CHROMIUM AFTER 20 K ELECTRON-IRRADIATION
After electron irradiation of Cr at 20 K to 2.1019 e-/cm2 the intemal friction was measured between 20 K and 300 K (7.2 Hz). Two IF peaks appear at 35 K and 50 K. Both anneal out below 77 K. The peaks are interpreted with the relaxation of self interstitial atoms (35 K) and clusters of self interstitial atoms (50 K).
