Assessing Cloud Segmentation in the Chromacity Diagram of All-Sky Images
All-sky imaging systems are currently very popular. They are used in ground-based meteorological stations and as a crucial part of the weather monitors for autonomous robotic telescopes. Data from all-sky imaging cameras provide important information for

Efficient High-Dimensional Kernel k-Means++ with Random Projection
Using random projection, a method to speed up both kernel k-means and centroid initialization with k-means++ is proposed. We approximate the kernel matrix and distances in a lower-dimensional space Rd before the kernel k-means clustering motivated by ...

ABSTRACT Objectives The association between exposure to dinutuximab beta (DB) and event‐free survival (EFS) or overall survival (OS) of neuroblastoma patients was assessed using data collected during three clinical trials (five cohorts). Methods A systematic review (March 2026) was conducted to identify relevant studies (prospective; registered DB ...

ABSTRACT Background Medication nonadherence during the first 100 days after pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and during oncology treatment increases risk for complications. BMT4me is a caregiver‐facing mobile health (mHealth) application providing medication reminders, symptom tracking, and note‐taking features to support ...

New bounds for $k$-means and information $k$-means
In this paper, we derive a new dimension-free non-asymptotic upper bound for the quadratic $k$-means excess risk related to the quantization of an i.i.d sample in a separable Hilbert space. We improve the bound of order $\mathcal{O} \bigl( k / \sqrt{n} \bigr)$ of Biau, Devroye and Lugosi, recovering the rate $\sqrt{k/n}$ that has already been proved by

ABSTRACT Background General pediatricians often evaluate hematologic and oncologic presentations before subspecialty consultation, yet the 2025 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) pediatric requirements reduce inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology (PHO) time, raising questions about resident readiness.
