The regulatory frameworks surrounding CRISPR‐edited papaya and their impact on international commerce

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, EarlyView.
Abstract The papaya tree (Carica papaya L.), native to the Americas, is cultivated in tropical regions and holds substantial economic importance, with an estimated export volume of 365 000 t in 2023. However, diseases caused by viruses, fungi, bacteria, and nematodes can lead to severe losses.

Is quinoa‐farming sustainable in marginal environments? Social, economical and environmental aspects

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, EarlyView.
Abstract Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) is an Andean grain crop introduced as a novel crop to many parts of the world in recent years. Recognized for nutritious seeds and high abiotic stress tolerance, it has been promoted as an element of climate‐resilient agriculture, particularly in marginal environments.

Labyrinthine Abnormalities on MRI in Untreated Otosclerosis: Prevalence and Clinical Relevance

open access: yesThe Laryngoscope, EarlyView.
In untreated otosclerosis with labyrinthine symptoms, delayed 3D FLAIR MRI rarely demonstrates endolymphatic hydrops but frequently reveals blood–labyrinth barrier (BLB) disruption. BLB enhancement is spatially associated with cochlear endosteal and round window involvement and increases with the severity of the hearing loss phenotype.

Rapid Discovery of TiO2/ZnFe2O4/Cu Ternary Photocatalysts for Volatile Organic Compounds Degradation via High‐Throughput Screening Photogenerated Carriers Transfer Properties

open access: yesMaterials Genome Engineering Advances, EarlyView.
This study develops a high‐throughput screening method using carrier mobility as a key descriptor. Taking the TiO2/ZnFe2O4/Cu ternary photocatalytic system as an example, we rapidly identify high‐performance components for VOCs degradation, confirm that the performance trends of thin‐film catalysts match those of their powder counterparts with the same
