Missing values prediction with K2

Intelligent Data Analysis, 2002
Dealing with missing values is one important task in data mining. There are many ways to work with this kind of data, but the literature doesn't determine the best one to all kinds of data set. The aim of this work is to show the application of a bayesian algorithm (K2) in data mining problems as a data preparation and classification tool.

K2

Proceedings of the 1997 international symposium on Low power electronics and design - ISLPED '97, 1997
New measures of peak power in the context of sequential circuits are proposed. This paper presents an automatic procedure to obtain very good lower bounds on these measures as well as the actual input vectors that attain such bounds. The initial state of the circuit is an important factor in determining the amount of switching activity in sequential ...

Milnor’s K2

1994
For the reader who might have been alarmed by the category-theoretic approach of the last chapter, this chapter, which discusses Milnor’s K2 functor, will seem a comforting retreat to more familiar territory. However, we will need to refer to the homology of a group, at least in order to speak of H2.

[Vitamin K2].

Clinical calcium, 2008
Vitamin K2 has been approved for the treatment of osteoporosis in Japan since 1995. Vitamin K2 treatment in osteoporosis has been shown to inhibit the occurrence of new bone fractures and to maintain BMD. The uniqueness of the prevention of bone fractures by vitamin K2 is that there has been no direct evidence of the relationship between increase of ...

[Vitamin K2].

Nihon rinsho. Japanese journal of clinical medicine, 1998
Vitamin K2 is a known vitamin to promote post-translational modification of vitamin K-dependent protein such as osteocalcin and blood coagulation factors. The effects of vitamin K2 on cortical bone mineral density in osteoporosis has been shown in the phase III DBT trial which had been reported several years ago.

Attacks on Simplified Versions of K2

2012
In 2007, S. Kiyomoto, T. Tanaka and K. Sakurai presented the stream cipher K2 at SECRYPT. In this paper, we present two attacks on simplified versions of K2. We show a differential chosen IV attack with key recovery on a simplified version with 5 initialization clocks with time complexity of 28.1 clocks.
