By designing a P/N‐ and π–π interacting biphenyl‐containing diol as hard segments but side groups, a strong, tough, fire‐extinguishing and self‐healing elastomer is developed, demonstrating a break strain of ∼2500%, a toughness of 379 MJ/m3 and a tensile strength of 46 MPa, as well as a healing efficiency of 95% (tensile strength) and 99% (break strain)

Redetermination of the crystal structure of arsenic tribromide, AsBr3
The crystal structure of AsBr3 was redetermined from low-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. Arsenic tribromide crystallizes in the orthorhombic Sohncke space group P212121 with Z = 4; the trigonal–pyramidal molecule exhibits three ...

Disentangling Blended K2 Photometry: Determining the Planetary Host Star [PDF]
The presence of companion stars, whether bound or unbound, make correct identification of the planetary hosting star difficult when a planet has been detected through a photometrically blended transiting event.

Advanced Design for Weakly Coupled Resonators by Automatic Active Optimization
An Automatic Active Optimization (AAO) strategy integrates machine learning predictors and genetic algorithms in a closed‐loop workflow. By iteratively expanding its dataset with new discoveries, AAO overcomes the limits of conventional methods. This approach finds superior microstructural designs beyond the initial sample space. We demonstrate this on

Revisiting K2-233 spectroscopic time-series with multidimensional Gaussian processes
Detecting planetary signatures in radial velocity time-series of young stars is challenging due to their inherently strong stellar activity. However, it is possible to learn information about the properties of the stellar signal by using activity ...

Thickness‐Dependent Infrared Emissivity of Ultrathin Freestanding MoSiN Nanocomposite Membranes
ABSTRACT Metals and dielectrics show opposite trends in thickness‐dependent infrared emissivity: metallic films exhibit a rise in emissivity below a critical thickness, while dielectric films show a corresponding decline. For applications demanding both high emissivity and mechanical strength in membranes with nanoscale thickness, combining these ...
