Medium-indused modification of kaons spectra measured in SIDIS at HERMES [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2019
The predicted high sensitivity of the nuclear modification factor for K– in SIDIS due to the QCD based effect of medium-induced flavour conversion in the fragmentation function is studied at HERMES experiment.

Field-Based Prediction Models for Stop Penalty in Traffic Signal Timing Optimization

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
Transportation agencies optimize signals to improve safety, mobility, and the environment. One commonly used objective function to optimize signals is the Performance Index (PI), a linear combination of delays and stops that can be balanced to minimize ...

Neighborhood Conditions and $k$-Factors

open access: yesTokyo Journal of Mathematics, 1997
A \(k\)-factor of a graph \(G\) is a spanning subgraph which is regular of degree \(k\). The authors give conditions involving a lower bound on the order \(n\) of \(G\), the parity of \(kn\), the minmum degree of \(G\), and the cardinalities of the unions of neighborhoods of non-adjacent vertices which guarantee that \(G\) has a \(k\)-factor.

Psychosocial Outcomes in Patients With Endocrine Tumor Syndromes: A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction The combination of disease manifestations, the familial burden, and varying penetrance of endocrine tumor syndromes (ETSs) is unique. This review aimed to portray and summarize available data on psychosocial outcomes in patients with ETSs and explore gaps and opportunities for future research and care.

Investigation of the thermo-hydraulic behavior of the fluid flow over a square ribbed channel [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Heat and Mass Transfer Research, 2014
The thermo-hydraulic behavior of the air flow over a two dimensional ribbed channel wasnumerically investigated in various rib-width ratio configurations (B/H=0.5-1.75) atdifferent Reynolds numbers, ranging from 6000 to 18000.

k-Factorization

open access: yes, 1995
I review the k-factorization method to combine the high-energy behaviour in QCD with the renormalization group. Resummation formulas for coefficient functions and anomalous dimensions are derived, and their applications to small-x scaling violations in structure functions are briefly discussed.

Nutritional and Behavioral Intervention for Long‐Term Childhood Acute Leukemia Survivors With Metabolic Syndrome

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a common complication in survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic and myeloid leukemia (AL), and a major risk factor for premature cardiovascular disease, type‐2‐diabetes, and metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).

K-Means Spreading Factor Allocation for Large-Scale LoRa Networks

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs) are emerging rapidly as a fundamental Internet of Things (IoT) technology because of their low-power consumption, long-range connectivity, and ability to support massive numbers of users.

Strong Tutte Type Conditions and Factors of Graphs

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2020
Let odd(G) denote the number of odd components of a graph G and k ≥ 2 be an integer. We give sufficient conditions using odd(G − S) for a graph G to have an even factor.

On strongly spanning k-edge-colorable subgraphs [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2017
A subgraph \(H\) of a multigraph \(G\) is called strongly spanning, if any vertex of \(G\) is not isolated in \(H\). \(H\) is called maximum \(k\)-edge-colorable, if \(H\) is proper \(k\)-edge-colorable and has the largest size.
