An Optimized Block Hybrid Spectral Simple Iteration Methods for Solving Nonlinear Evolution Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 126, Issue 24, 30 December 2025.
ABSTRACT This study presents a new optimized block hybrid method and spectral simple iteration method (OBHM‐SSIM) for solving nonlinear evolution equations. In this method, we employed a combination of the spectral collocation method in space and the optimized block hybrid method in time, along with a simple iteration scheme to linearize the equations.

A characterization of operator order via grand Furuta

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2001
As an application of the grand Furuta inequality, we shall show a characterization of usual order associated with operator equation and a Kantorovich type order preserving operator inequality by using essentially the same idea of [9].

On q-Analogue of Modified Kantorovich-Type Discrete-Beta Operators [PDF]

open access: yesComplex Analysis and Operator Theory, 2016
The present paper deals with the Stancu type generalization of the Kantorovich discrete $q$-Beta operators. We establish some direct results, which include the asymptotic formula and error estimation in terms of the modulus of continuity and weighted approximation.

Learning Low‐Dimensional Representations of Ensemble Forecast Fields Using Autoencoder‐Based Methods

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 2, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract Large‐scale numerical simulations often produce high‐dimensional gridded data, which is challenging to process for downstream applications. A prime example is numerical weather prediction, where atmospheric processes are modeled using discrete gridded representations of the physical variables and dynamics. Uncertainties are assessed by running

Kantorovich Variant of the Blending Type Bernstein Operators

open access: yesBulletin of the Iranian Mathematical Society
AbstractIn this paper, we introduce a novel class of blending-type Bernstein–Kantorovich operators. These operators depend on three parameters: $$\alpha $$ α , $$\gamma $$ γ , and s. We establish results on the uniform convergence and rate of convergence of these operators in terms of ...

Supershift properties for nonanalytic signals

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 14, Issue 23, Page 4039-4044, 02 November 2025.
Abstract The phenomenon of superoscillations is of great interest in microscopy, antenna design, and material sciences. This phenomenon has been generalized and has given rise to the concept of supershift, which is a far reaching extension that applies to functions that may present discontinuous derivatives. From this perspective, this is a notion that

From Inception to Innovation: 20 Years of Nanoarchitectonics

open access: yesChemistry – An Asian Journal, Volume 20, Issue 20, October 17, 2025.
Although nanotechnology was founded in the 20th century, the term nanoarchitectonics was first coined at the turn of the 21st century. Therefore, nanoarchitectonics has a history of about 20 years. In this review article, we will provide an overview of nanoarchitectonics through examining some research examples on manipulation‐based nanoarchitectonics ...

Kantorovich-type operators preserving affine functions

open access: yesHacettepe Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, 2016
Starting from positive linear operators which have the capability to reproduce affine functions, we design integral operators of Kantorovichtype which enjoy by the same property. We focus to show that the error of approximation can be smaller than in classical Kantorovich construction on some subintervals of its domain. Special cases are presented.

Optimal power purchase decision‐making for receiving‐end power system considering uncertainties in two‐level inter‐provincial and intra‐provincial electricity markets

open access: yesEnergy Conversion and Economics, Volume 6, Issue 5, Page 281-294, October 2025.
Abstract In this paper, an optimal power procurement decision‐making model for the receiving‐end power system considering uncertainties in two‐level inter‐provincial and intra‐provincial markets is proposed. The model aims to achieve secure and economically efficient system dispatch under market coordination, ensuring rational resource utilization and ...

Approximation by ψ‐Baskakov‐Kantorovich Operators

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 14, Page 13552-13562, 30 September 2025.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we introduce a new family of Baskakov‐Kantorovich operators that depend on a function ψ$$ \psi $$. We compare these new ψ$$ \psi $$‐Baskakov‐Kantorovich operators with the classical Baskakov‐Kantorovich operators to evaluate their approximation results.
