, 2006 Türkiye, konumu ve coğrafî özellikleri nedeniyle çok çeşitli meyvelerin yetiştirildiği bir ülkedir. Bunlardan birisini de turunçgiller oluşturur. Turunçgil tarımı, daha çok Akdeniz ve Ege bölgeleri ile Güney Marmara Bölümü'nde yoğunlaşmıştır. Bunların dışında turunçgil tarımının yapıldığı sahalardan biri de Doğu Karadeniz Bölümü'dür.
