Abstract Nucleotide‐binding leucine‐rich repeat (NLR) genes constitute one of the largest families of plant immune receptors and are central to crop disease resistance. Rice (Oryza sativa L.), maize (Zea mays L.), and sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) are major crops underpinning global food security, and enhancing their immunity is critical for ...

Regional Patterns and Regulatory Mechanisms of Aquatic Carbon Transfer in China
Abstract Inland waters constitute vital components in the global carbon (C) cycle. Nevertheless, the regional patterns of aquatic carbon transfer across China remain poorly quantified, and their impacts on the terrestrial carbon budget remain unclear.

Abstract Self‐potential (SP) monitoring has emerged as a valuable method for characterizing subsurface hydrogeological features and processes due to its sensitivity to fluid‐induced electrokinetic effects. Despite advancements in SP inversion, challenges remain in imaging groundwater dynamics from SP activities due to complex hydrological settings and ...

Terrestrial Analogs to Titan for Geophysical Research
Abstract Saturn's moon Titan exhibits remarkable parallels to the Earth in many geophysical and geological processes not found elsewhere in the solar system at the present day. These include a nitrogen atmosphere with a condensible gas—methane—replacing the Earth's water, leading to an active meteorology with rainfall and surface manifestations ...

Anchialine caves in Croatian karst area
The karst area covers more than 50 % of the Croatia. The whole Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea is a karst region characterized by a porous limestone and semi-porous dolomites with some flysch, an impervious thin-layered sedimentary rock, as hydraulic barriers. Over 9000 caves are known, many of which are located on the islands or along the coastline.
