Association between the quality of inner cell mass and first trimester miscarriage after single blastocyst transfer

open access: yesReproductive Biology and Endocrinology, 2020
Background The blastocyst morphology provided valuable roles for predicting pregnancy and live birth, but was still not fully understood for evaluating miscarriage.

An unusual initial presentation of mantle cell lymphoma arising from the lymphoid stroma of warthin tumor. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
BackgroundWarthin tumors presenting concomitantly with a lymphoma is vanishingly rare with only 15 reported cases in English literature. Herein, we report an unusual initial presentation of a mantle cell lymphoma involving the lymphoid stroma of a ...

Dentofacial morphology in Turner syndrome karyotypes.

open access: yesSwedish dental journal. Supplement, 2012
The overall aim of this thesis was to study dentofacial morphology in Turner syndrome (TS) versus controls and the influence hereupon from karyotype. One hundred thirty two TS females (5-66 years of age), from Göteborg, Uppsala and Umeå were participating. Cephalometric analysis, cast model analysis concerning palatal height, dental arch morphology and

Multimaterial Triphasic Scaffold Replicates Enthesis Microenvironment to Modulate Early Cell Responses

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
A bioinspired triphasic scaffold integrating 3D printed polycaprolactone and electrospun poly(lactic‐co‐glycolic acid) is developed to replicate the organization of the tendon‐to‐bone enthesis. Cyclic mechanical stimulation induces spatially defined cell morphology and lineage‐related gene expression in human mesenchymal stem cells, highlighting the ...

Comparative chromosome band mapping in primates byin situ suppression hybridization of band specific DNA microlibraries [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
A DNA-library established from microdissected bands 8q23 to 8q24.1 of normal human chromosomes 8 (Lüdecke et al., 1989) was used as a probe for chromosomal in situ suppression (CISS-) hybridization to metaphase chromosomes of man and primates including ...

Karyotypes and chromosome morphology in the genus Mikania (Compositae). I.

open access: yesCYTOLOGIA, 1987
Karyotypes from six species of genus Mikania were studied utilizing root tip metaphase mitoses. Two species were diploid with 2n=36, M. cordifolia was diploid with 2n=34, M. laevigata, was diploid with 2n=38, M. micrantha and M. viminea were tetraploid with 2n=72 and 2n=68, respectively.

Establishment of Interspecies Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer and Transgene‐Free Inducible Pluripotent Stem Cells for Versatile Conservation of the Germplasm Resource of Wild Boar

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Conserving genetic material and even increasing genetic diversity is critical. To conduct the conservation of wild boar germplasm resources, we have successfully obtained healthy cloned wild boars for the first time using interspecies somatic cell nuclear transfer and established transgene‐free iPSCs that can be used to conduct iterative rounds of gene

Clinical periodontal diagnosis

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Periodontal diseases include pathological conditions elicited by the presence of bacterial biofilms leading to a host response. In the diagnostic process, clinical signs such as bleeding on probing, development of periodontal pockets and gingival recessions, furcation involvement and presence of radiographic bone loss should be assessed prior ...

Karyotype analysis of some Onobrychis (sainfoin) species in Turkey [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Biological Sciences, 2012
In this study, karyotype analysis of the species of Onobrychis sp. was undertaken using the squash method. The results showed that the chromosome number of Onobrychis tournefortii (Willd.) Desv., O. gracilis Besser, O. hypargyrea Boiss. is 2n = 14 and

Loxodontomys pikumche (Rodentia, Cricetidae): nueva especie para Argentina [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We report the first record of occurrence of Loxodontomys pikumche Spotorno et al., 1998, in the Central Andes of Argentina. We briefly describe external characters, skull, karyotype, and habitat; also, we provide general comparisons with the other known ...
