Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 4, July 2026.Natural eggshell sanitation using thyme essential oil reduced microbial contamination and lipid peroxidation while improving embryo viability and hatchability in stored broiler breeder fertile eggs. These findings support thyme essential oil as a promising residue‐free alternative for hatchery egg sanitation.
