Bio‐active designed peptide for hair keratin strengthening
Bioactive tripeptides through in silico screening revealed KCV (Tripeptide‐132) as the most promising keratin‐targeting candidate. Experimental studies confirmed its superior hair‐strengthening performance with 44% tensile strength enhancement, 50% breakage reduction, improved surface integrity and fibre penetration.

UV exposure induces cuticular and cortical damage in natural hair, with oxidative effects and protein degradation comparable to bleaching. However, double bleaching leads to significantly greater structural degradation, emphasizing distinct mechanisms and severity of chemical versus UV‐induced damage. Abstract The combination of chemist techniques is a

Cannabis sativa root‐derived extracellular vesicle‐like nanoparticles (CA‐NPs) were isolated from adventitious root cultures and subjected to physicochemical characterization. Upon UVB exposure, keratinocytes exhibited increased ROS generation, apoptosis and MAPK activation, leading to oxidative stress and skin damage.

Conventional dermoscopy provided higher scores than ultraviolet‐induced fluorescence dermoscopy for parallel furrow pattern, parallel ridge pattern (PRP), fibrillar pattern, dots/clods, radial lines, blue–white structureless areas and blotch, and outperformed sub‐ultraviolet reflectance dermoscopy (sUVRD) for PRP and blue–white structureless areas ...

ABSTRACT Conventional wisdom suggests that higher education (HE) and national prosperity (or wealth) contribute to improved life satisfaction. Is this also true for first‐generation immigrants? Using multilevel models on 16,368 individuals across 35 European countries from the European Social Survey, the results demonstrate that, although immigrants ...

Characterisation of human hair follicle development
Schematic of hair follicle development in human skin. Hair follicle primordia of similar sizes, but different densities, are laid out across the skin. The distinction between terminal and vellus hair sites is not obvious at early stages of hair follicle development.
