ABSTRACT Dermatophytes typically cause superficial skin infections characterized by an active border. However, they can present atypically invading deeper in immunocompromised patients. We present a case of a 72‐year‐old woman with bullous pemphigoid who had received oral prednisolone for 3 months and developed umbilicated papules.

Superficial Pustular Folliculitis of the Face and Neck—A Non‐Infectious Eruption Responding to Topical Steroids

Twenty‐seven young patients, mostly females, presenting with monomorphous, discrete, tiny, superficial follicular pustules on the face (44.4%), the face and neck (51.8%) and the neck (3.7%). Photodynamic Treatment of 206 Thin (≤ 1 mm) Basal Cell Carcinomas Using a Biphasic Activation Protocol: The Outcomes Over a 7‐Year Period and the Rationale Behind the Treatment

Photodynamic treatment using a 2‐phased activation protocol consisting of red light followed immediately by IPL delivered with mechanical pressure to squeeze out blood was highly successful in a group of 206 thin BCCs ( ≤ 1 mm maximum thickness). Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was used for triage and to monitor outcomes.
