Aesthesiometry after Cryo-keratomileusis and in situ Keratomileusis
European Journal of Implant and Refractive Surgery, 1995Objective: Evaluation of corneal reinnervation after cryo-keratomileusis and keratomileusis. Study Design: Retrospective evaluation of corneal sensitivity after cryo-keratomileusis and in situ keratomileusis. The measurements were performed with the Draeger electromechanical optical-controlled aesthesiometer, which is very precise and independent of

Keratomileusis for Myopia and Aphakia
Ophthalmology, 1981Abstract The main points of the surgical technique are described briefly. The results of keratomileusis for the correction of myopia and aphakia are analyzed, comparing them, along with the accidents and complications of the first series, with those of the last series. The present indications and limitations of the procedure are pointed out.

Keratophakia and Keratomileusis — Clinical Results
Ophthalmology, 1981A random, retrospective study was performed on 158 patients. who underwent keratophakia and keratomileusis for the correction of refractive errors. The primary indication for surgery was high anisometropia. Data on corneal curvature modification, refraction, accuracy, stability, and complications are reported.

Clinical Results of Keratophakia and Keratomileusis
Ophthalmology, 1981Thirteen keratophakia patients were followed for 13 to 35 months. Eighteen cases of hyperopic keratomileusis or hyperopic keratomileusis using preserved corneal tissue were followed for 2 to 30 months. All 13 patients who underwent keratophakia achieved 20/50 or better acuity.

Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, 1990
AbstractA new laser refractive procedure is being developed in a rabbit model. With a modified microkeratome, central corneal flaps were created. An ArF excimer laser was used to produce 3‐mm‐diameter circular ablations on the central part of the exposed stromal bed.

Excimer Laser Intrastromal Keratomileusis
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1992We studied 30 eyes in 22 patients with severe myopia who underwent myopic keratomileusis combined with excimer laser refractive correction. The goals of the study were to evaluate the efficacy of the procedure in decreasing myopia, to assess the response of the cornea to intrastromal photoablation, and to examine the relationship between the number of ...
