Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, 1979Sixteen penetrating keratoplasties were performed in 14 patients less than 16 years old. Clear corneas were obtained in 62.5% of eyes with significantly improved vision in 56.2% of cases. The problems of postoperative treatments, complications, and amblyopia were found to be manageable.
