According to Freudenthal and Spitzer, 1 seborrheic warts were described as early as 1869 by Neumann, who called them "senile" warts.

Abstract Seborrheic keratosis is a benign skin disorder which rarely occurs on the penis. Histopathologicexamination shows characteristic basal cell hyperplasia with cystic formation in the thickened epidermis. Excisional biopsy is perhaps the only way to rule out malignant disease.
