Evaluating the Kerma coefficients relevant to various water-equivalent materials at different photon energies

open access: yesNuclear Engineering and Technology
To investigate the water equivalency of some solid phantoms, relevant Kerma coefficients were determined through both Monte Carlo (MC) simulation and analytical approaches over a wide range of photon energies ranging from 1 keV to 20 MeV.MCNPX MC Code ...

Microdosimetric spectra simulated with MCNP6.1 with INCL4/ABLA model for kerma and mean quality factor assessment, for neutrons between 100 keV to 19 MeV

open access: yesRadiation Measurements, 2019
From the application of the microdosimetric approach in dosimetry, the standard TEPC, i.e., Rossi-type detector, was found to be a well-suited device to measure “first collision” neutron kerma and develop lineal energy spectra for incident neutrons ...

Efficient Charge Transport in Zero‐Dimensional Perovskite for Ultrahigh‐Sensitivity X‐Ray Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel mono‐octahedral 0D Bi‐based Dpy3Bi2I12 perovskite strengthens the internal hydrogen bonds and forms a quasi‐2D lattice, exhibits exceptional charge transport and mobility, achieving high X‐ray sensitivity and ultralow‐dose imaging, and setting a new benchmark for 0D detector performance.
