Detect anomalous quartic gauge couplings at muon colliders with quantum kernel k-means

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
In recent years, with the increasing luminosities of colliders, handling the growing amount of data has become a major challenge for future New Physics (NP) phenomenological research.

Fault diagnosis of wind turbine bearing based on stochastic subspace identification and multi-kernel support vector machine

open access: yesJournal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy, 2018
In order to accurately identify a bearing fault on a wind turbine, a novel fault diagnosis method based on stochastic subspace identification (SSI) and multi-kernel support vector machine (MSVM) is proposed.

Suita Conjecture for a Complex Torus

open access: yes, 2014
The author proves that the generalized Suita conjecture holds for any complex torus, which means that $ \alpha\pi K \geq c^2(\alpha\in\mathbb R)$, $c$ being the modified logarithmic capacity and $K$ being the Bergman kernel on the diagonal.

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Dimensionality Reduction and Clustering Strategies for Label Propagation in Partial Discharge Data Sets

open access: yesEnergies
Deep learning approaches have been successfully applied to perform automatic classification of phase-resolved partial discharge (PRPD) diagrams. Under the supervised learning paradigm, however, the performance of classifiers strongly depends on the ...

Influence of Test Temperature and Test Frequency on Fatigue Life of Aluminum Alloy EN AW‐2618A

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The influence of test temperature and test frequency on the fatigue life of EN AW‐2618A is investigated. High‐cycle fatigue tests are performed at different test temperatures and frequencies on the 1000 h/230°C overaged state. Both test parameters reduce fatigue life due to time‐dependent damage mechanisms.

On a more accurate half-discrete multidimensional Hilbert-type inequality involving one derivative function of m-order

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2023
By means of the weight functions, the idea of introduced parameters, using the transfer formula and Hermite–Hadamard’s inequality, a more accurate half-discrete multidimensional Hilbert-type inequality with the homogeneous kernel as 1 ( x + ∥ k − ξ ∥ α )

A Kernel-based Approach to Diffusion Tensor and Fiber Clustering in the Human Skeletal Muscle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In this report, we present a kernel-based approach to the clustering of diffusion tensors in images of the human skeletal muscle. Based on the physical intuition of tensors as a means to represent the uncertainty of the position of water protons in the ...
