Representing functional data in reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces with applications to clustering and classification [PDF]

open access: yes
Functional data are difficult to manage for many traditional statistical techniques given their very high (or intrinsically infinite) dimensionality. The reason is that functional data are essentially functions and most algorithms are designed to work ...

Targeting PLD3 Reverses the Immunosuppressive Niche by Reprogramming Tumor‐Associated Macrophages and Potentiates Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PLD3 activates the lysosomal‐AKT‐NF‐κB axis to drive cellular senescence in macrophages, establishing an immunosuppressive TME by limiting the infiltration of cytotoxic T, NK, and NKT cells, which confers resistance to anti‐PD‐1 therapy. Abrine inhibits PLD3 expression, restoring antitumor immunity and synergizing with anti‐PD‐1 treatment.

Full‐Stack Architectures for Intelligent Brain‐Computer Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
System‐level overview of brain–computer interfaces (BCIs), illustrating the integration of neural signal acquisition, wireless transmission, and adaptive decoding. Advanced electrode, tissue interfaces, energy‐efficient communication, and robust algorithms collectively enable stable signal quality, real‐time processing, and closed‐loop operation ...

Nonparametric Estimation of Risk-Neutral Densities [PDF]

open access: yes
This chapter deals with nonparametric estimation of the risk neutral density. We present three different approaches which do not require parametric functional assumptions on the underlying asset price dynamics nor on the distributional form of the risk ...

Stem Cell Differentiation Disperses Transcriptional Clusters via a Conserved Surface‐Condensate Trajectory

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Stem cell differentiation follows a conserved surface condensate trajectory: H3K27ac super enhancers nucleate large RNA polymerase II clusters that grow and unfold before transcriptional activity disperses them. This work reveals how biophysical forces at enhancer surfaces dynamically build and dismantle stem cell transcription hubs, reshaping cell ...

An Improved Method for Bandwidth Selection when Estimating ROC Curves [PDF]

open access: yes
The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve is used to describe the performance of a diagnostic test which classifies observations into two groups.

FUNGSI-FUNGSI KERNEL PADA METODE REGRESI NONPARAMETRIK DAN APLIKASINYA PADA PRIEST RIVER EXPERIMENTAL FOREST'S DATA

open access: yesJurnal Teknik Industri, 2006
In this paper we discuss some models for estimating the regression function, provided the data Y is given. The programming of these function are presented as well as the "tricks" in the R- programming, a statistical freeware.
