Two‐Dimensional Triferroics: From Fundamental Couplings to Multifunctional Applications
This graphic summarizes the three main types of currently reported 2D triferroic couplings. From the structural perspective, existing systems can be broadly classified into two categories, which exhibit distinct symmetry features and coupling behaviors. Beyond the lattice difference, a third type involves the interplay among ferroelectricity, magnetism,

Superconducting fluctuation current in a space with the Kerr metric
We study a fluctuation current through a superconducting ring placed in a space with the Kerr metric. This attempt aims at exploring conceptual problem; namely, we are concerned with the question about the condensed state in an extreme space-time.

A Spin‐Texture Spin‐Valves With Van Der Waals Magnets
ABSTRACT All‐electrical methods for nucleating, detecting, and manipulating spin textures in 2D van der Waals (vdW) magnets can serve as fundamental building blocks for multi‐state spintronic memory, logic, and neuromorphic computing applications.

Vibrational spectroscopy via stimulated Raman induced Kerr lensing
We present a new method for the measurement of the stimulated Raman spectrum based on time-dependent spatial modulation of a laser beam as it passes through a Raman active medium.

Changes in Alcohol Retail Laws and Foot Traffic at Liquor Stores
ABSTRACT We study how expanding alcohol availability at grocery and convenience stores affects consumer traffic in liquor stores by leveraging recent changes in state‐level alcohol distribution laws in a difference‐in‐difference quasi‐experimental design.

It is shown that the Kerr rotation of spin-polarized electrons is modulated by the distance of the electrons from the sample surface. Time-resolved Kerr rotation of optically-excited spin-polarized electrons in the depletion layer of n-doped GaAs ...

Saturation of the All-Optical Kerr Effect
Saturation of the intensity dependence of the refractive index is directly computed from ionization rates via a Kramers-Kronig transform. The linear intensity dependence and its dispersion are found in excellent agreement with complete quantum mechanical orbital computations.

Foreign labor, peer‐networking and agricultural efficiency in the Italian dairy sector
Abstract While the presence of immigrants in the agricultural sector is widely acknowledged, the empirical evidence on its economic consequences is lacking, especially from a microeconomic perspective. Using the Farm Accountancy Data Network panel data for Italian dairy farms in the period 2008–2018, the present study investigates the relationship ...
