Kerr Comb-Driven Silicon Photonic Transmitter [PDF]
We demonstrate the first on-chip silicon photonic transmitter using a Kerr frequency comb source for massive wavelength parallelism. The architecture is scalable to hundreds of wavelength channels, paving the way for multi-Tb/s photonic ...

Abstract Recent phylogenetic studies have called into question the present broad circumscription of Dorstenia (Moraceae), a genus of shrubs and herbs found largely in Africa and the Neotropics. This study presents an updated phylogenomic analysis of Dorstenia and allied genera, reviews the morphology of these taxa, and proposes a revised delimitation ...

A generalized Lugiato-Lefever equation in frequency domain for the modeling of Kerr frequency combs, including full-order frequency dependence of all parameters, is derived and solved without sacrifice of computational time. The proposed model shows high

Integrated optical phased arrays are emerging as scalable engines for solid‐state beam steering and programmable wavefront control. This Review maps the field from beam‐steering principles and core building blocks to material platforms, system‐level bottlenecks, and application frontiers, highlighting how heterogeneous integration, aperiodic ...

Broadband quantum-dot frequency-modulated comb laser
Frequency-modulated (FM) laser combs, which offer a quasi-continuous-wave output and a flat-topped optical spectrum, are emerging as a promising solution for wavelength-division multiplexing applications, precision metrology, and ultrafast optical ...

Exceptional Light Propagation via Generalized Bulk‐Edge Correspondence
We show that unlike in electronic systems, localized edge states in topological photonics are governed not only by nontrivial bulk topology, but also by polarization‐dependent light‐line confinement conditions inherent to Maxwell's equations. This fundamentally generalized bulk‐edge correspondence unlocks new regimes of tunable near‐cutoff localization

Generation of an optical frequency comb in the green with silicon nitride microresonators [PDF]
The first realization of a green-light frequency comb is reported in a silicon nitride ring microresonator, from third-order non-linear interaction of a near-infrared 1-THz spacing Kerr comb spanning 2/3 of an octave. © 2016 OSA.

Frequency comb generation dynamics in χ(2) + χ(3) AlGaAs microresonators [PDF]
We propose an AlGaAs microring resonator design for the generation of an optical frequency comb by means of the interplay between harmonic generation and Kerr effect.
