Four novel species of Distoseptispora (Distoseptisporaceae, Distoseptisporales) revealed by morphology and phylogenetic analyses from southern China [PDF]
During investigations of saprobic fungi on decaying wood in terrestrial habitats of southern China, several sporidesmium-like isolates were collected from dead branches of unidentified plants in Fujian, Jiangxi, and Yunnan provinces.

The brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys, mainly secretes 4‐oxo‐(E)‐2‐hexenal, (E)‐2‐decenal, dodecane and tridecane, a mixture representative of that released by many heteropterans. We demonstrated that H. halys can synthesise these secretory components de novo using dietary glucose.

Stereometric Molecular Engineering for Ultra‐Stable Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries
Stereochemical configuration of molecular additives greatly influences interfacial adsorption at the Zn surface. The optimal tilted dual‐anchored adsorption geometry of myo‐inositol constructs a water‐deficient interface and regulates the solvation structure.
