In vivo percutaneous absorption: a key role for stratum corneum/vehicle partitioning

Archives of Dermatological Research, 1990
Percutaneous absorption of five compounds was studied in the hairless rat in vivo: benzoic acid, caffeine, hydrocortisone, inulin and thiourea. The results clearly demonstrate that, as with in vitro experiments, a steady-state flux can be achieved in vivo. This steady-state flux is strongly molecule dependent.

Self-assembled organogelators as artificial stratum corneum models: Key-role parameters for skin permeation prediction

International Journal of Pharmaceutics, 2019
Self-assembled organogelators were explored as artificial stratum corneum (SC) models for the in vitro skin permeation assessment. Four SC models consisting of binary (organogels) or ternary (microemulsion-based organogels) mixtures were developed using stearic acid, tristearin, or sorbitan tristearate, at two different concentrations, gelled in ...

Analysis of Numerical Simulation on Breaking Law of the Composite Key Stratum Affected by Coal Mining

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
Using FLCA3Dnumerical simulation software, analyzed the different models of different extraction from the composite key layer of breaking the law, respectively to the Composite Key Stratum and non-Composite Key Stratum .The results show that Composite Key Stratum breaking interval was significantly greater than The non-Composite Key Stratum, showing a ...

Grouting of bed separation spaces to control sliding of the high-located main key stratum during longwall mining

Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology, 2020
The gob-side entry 150 – 180 m behind the 14201 working face at Majialiang coal mine is severely deformed. We developed a new technique to control the behaviour of the high-located main key stratum (HMKS) to improve mine safety.

Stratum corneum pH and ceramides: Key regulators and biomarkers of skin barrier function in atopic dermatitis

Journal of Dermatological Science
The skin, as the outermost layer of the body, serves as a crucial protective barrier against environmental insults while maintaining homeostasis. Atopic dermatitis (AD), a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by recurrent eczema and type 2 inflammation, affects a significant global population.

Middle Stratum Consumption Patterns as a “Key” for Understanding Japanese Society

2018
This chapter is devoted to Japanese consumption patterns and the place and role of the middle strata in Japanese consumer society. Consumption is accepted as a key to understanding postmodern society peculiarities, structures, and transformations. Here consumption patterns are used as a methodological tool for the study of postmodern Japanese society ...

The Design of the FBG Sensor System for Strain Monitoring Specific to the Key Stratum in Casing Annulus

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
Due to the tube is suffering deformation and damage by a series of factors, such as external force, chemical corrosion etc. The production of oil and the oil wells' service life is directly affected. As the number of casing damage is increasing year by year, the casing damage especially the casing inspection of key layer has become the focus of ...

Self-assembling organogelators for artificial stratum corneum models: key-role parameters in skin permeation prediction

2018
The development of in vitro methods to predict in vivo percutaneous absorption of bioactive molecules is a challenge to which the researchers are called in order to eliminate or reduce the pharmacological and toxicological tests on animal models. Artificial stratum corneum (SC) models obtained by self-assembled oganogelators were designed for skin ...
