BONE AND CALCULI IN THE COLLECTING TUBULES OF THE KIDNEY
Archives of Surgery, 1933In this paper the occurrence of bone in the human kidney in close association with parenchymatous stones will be described and its bearing on the theory of osteogenesis pointed out. The occurrence of bone in the kidney under experimental conditions has attracted much study since the original demonstration by Sacerdotti and Frattin 1 (1901).

Urinary tract calculi after kidney transplantation
1976Surprisingly enough no reports on urinary stone formation after kidney transplantation have been published to our knowledge. Since obstruction of a transplanted ureter appears not to cause pain, renal stone formation can be missed easily or misinterpreted as rejection or recurrent glomerulonephritis or simply urinary tract infection.
