Scalar field as a null dust

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
We show that a canonical, minimally coupled scalar field which is non-self interacting and massless is equivalent to a null dust fluid (whether it is a test or a gravitating field), in a spacetime region in which its gradient is null.

Lorentzian Flat Lie Groups Admitting a Timelike Left-Invariant Killing Vector Field [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We call a connected Lie group endowed with a left-invariant Lorentzian flat metric Lorentzian flat Lie group. In this Note, we determine all Lorentzian flat Lie groups admitting a timelike left-invariant Killing vector field.

QFT on homothetic Killing twist deformed curved spacetimes

open access: yes, 2011
We study the quantum field theory (QFT) of a free, real, massless and curvature coupled scalar field on self-similar symmetric spacetimes, which are deformed by an abelian Drinfel'd twist constructed from a Killing and a homothetic Killing vector field ...

Sphingomonas paucimobilis‐Driven Epithelial–Endothelial Transition in Adenomyosis Pathogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies epithelial–endothelial transition (EET) as a novel adenomyosis pathogenic mechanism driven by Sphingomonas paucimobilis colonization. Systematic inhibitor experiments validate a TNFα→NF‐κB→MMP signaling cascade essential for EET. Critically, bacterial culture supernatant fails to induce pathological changes, demonstrating viable ...

Conformal Killing vector fields and a virial theorem

open access: yes, 2014
The virial theorem is formulated both intrinsically and in local coordinates for a Lagrangian system of mechanical type on a Riemann manifold. An import case studied in this paper is that of an affine virial function associated to a vector field on the ...

GPCRs in CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy: Expanding the Target Landscape and Enhancing Therapeutic Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy faces dual challenges of target scarcity and an immunosuppressive microenvironment in solid tumors. This review highlights how G protein‐coupled receptors can serve as both novel targets to expand the therapeutic scope and functional modules to enhance CAR‐T cell efficacy.

Killing Vector Fields and Superharmonic Field Theories

open access: yes, 2013
The harmonic action functional allows a natural generalisation to semi-Riemannian supergeometry, referred to as superharmonic action, which resembles the supersymmetric sigma models studied in high energy physics. We show that Killing vector fields are infinitesimal supersymmetries of the superharmonic action and prove three different Noether theorems ...

Killing vector fields and characteristic forms

open access: yesJapanese journal of mathematics. New series, 1995
Let \((M,g)\) be a compact orientable Riemannian manifold, \(\dim M =n =2m\), \(\nabla\) the Riemannian connection, \(\omega\) the connection form and \(\Omega =d\omega- \omega\wedge \omega\) the curvature form. The structure group of the tangent bundle of \(M\) is \(SO(n)\), and the corresponding Lie algebra \(o(n)\) is the algebra of real \((n\times ...

Killing vector fields and harmonic superfield theories [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2014
The harmonic action functional allows a natural generalisation to semi-Riemannian supergeometry, also referred to as harmonic, which resembles the supersymmetric sigma models studied in high energy physics. We show that Killing vector fields are infinitesimal supersymmetries of this harmonic action and prove three different Noether theorems in this ...

Depletion of the RNA‐Editing Enzyme ADAR1 Invigorates the Antitumor Immunity of NK Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ADAR1 is upregulated in NK cells from melanoma patients, impairing their function. Its loss enhances NK cell tumor infiltration and cytotoxicity in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, ADAR1 deficiency destabilizes CD38 mRNA to reduce its expression, thereby increasing NK cell mobility and killing, which nominates it as a therapeutic target for NK cell ...
